Louise Ward Integrative Therapy
Integrative, mind-body therapy rooted in science, compassion, and lived experience.
Many of us carry the effects of stress, fear, and painful experiences in ways we don’t even realise. They show up as tension in the body, racing thoughts, or self-doubt that keeps us small.
As an integrative therapist UK, I blend trauma-informed approaches, mindfulness, and the science of mind and body to help you understand what’s really happening beneath the surface. Together, we explore the unconscious patterns that have protected you but may now be keeping you stuck.
This process isn’t about “fixing” you – it’s about awareness. When you understand how your brain and body respond to the world, you gain the power to create change that feels grounded and real.

Much of my work focuses on helping you reconnect with your natural resilience – the strength that trauma or stress can cloud but never take away. Emotional regulation begins when we learn to listen to the body’s signals and respond with kindness rather than judgement.
Through mind–body awareness, reflection, and gentle education, you’ll begin to see how past experiences have shaped your patterns – and how they can be reshaped with compassion and curiosity.
I don’t stand outside this process; I’m part of it too. Every strategy I teach – from grounding techniques to reframing thoughts – is something I use in my own life. That shared humanity is at the heart of this work.

As an integrative therapist UK, I combine evidence-based methods such as cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy, relaxation, and self-efficacy training with imaginal and mind–body techniques. These tools aren’t abstract theories – they are practices that help you feel safer, calmer, and more capable in daily life.
Together, we focus on the skills that make change sustainable: regulating your nervous system, reframing unhelpful thoughts, and strengthening confidence through small, consistent steps.
This work is more than managing symptoms – it’s about creating a life that feels balanced and genuinely your own.

Therapy offers more than just a space to talk – it’s a place to feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported without judgement. In today’s fast-paced and often overwhelming world, it’s easy to lose sight of your own needs, push down emotions, or carry forward experiences from the past that quietly shape how you think, feel, and relate to others.
As an integrative therapist UK, I provide therapy in Northampton and online, helping you reconnect – with yourself, your values, and your sense of possibility. Therapy gives you practical tools to navigate life’s challenges, understand how your struggles affect you more deeply, and begin to shift unhelpful beliefs or behaviours that hold you back.
Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, low self-worth, relationship difficulties, or simply a sense of disconnection, therapy can be a turning point – offering clarity, self-compassion, and the resilience to move forward.
I offer these forms as a first step for you to begin acknowledging your challenges, gaining insight into your emotional patterns, and starting the journey toward greater self-understanding and change. To access the forms, simply submit your email address – they’ll be sent straight to your inbox.
The first session is designed to understand your present challenges and explore whether we’re a good fit to work together. It offers a space to ask questions, learn more about my approach, and begin building a connection in a way that feels supportive and empowering.
As an integrative therapist UK, I offer sessions in person in Northampton or online via Google Meet, providing flexibility and accessibility wherever you are.
Sessions are conducted in person or online (using Google Meet).
My hourly rates are £65 (in person) and £60 (online) at present.
If you would like more information or you wish to introduce yourself before booking, you can contact me at [email protected].
I believe therapy should feel like an investment in your wellbeing — not just a cost. Each session fee reflects more than the hour we spend together: it also covers the professional standards and support that make the work safe and effective.
Here are some of the essentials your fee has to cover:
Specialist training in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy, with ongoing learning and research.
Regular CPD to keep skills current, effective, and evidence-based.
Supervision to ensure safe, ethical, and high-quality practice.
Professional memberships, registration, and insurance to uphold accountability and protect clients.
Preparation and reflection time — beyond the session itself, I dedicate time to preparing, note-taking, and tailoring approaches to your needs.
These commitments ensure that when you step into the room (or online space), you can feel confident you’re receiving safe, professional, and compassionate support.
